Portal of Peril

Run old housing gauntlets in this exciting new event in Wizard101!

This event allows all players Level 30 and above to revisit past Housing Gauntlets for free. Head over to the Wizard City Fairegrounds when this event is running to join in. Everyone gets two credits per day, and members can receive two additional credits per day.

There are three tiers of the Portal of Peril event – level 50, 100, and 150. Beware: the highest tier has the most difficult opponents! Conquering Portal of Peril at any tier may drop the Fortune Coin reagent, which can be used to redeem rewards such as Spellements, Reagents, or Gold Skeleton Keys from the Portal Keeper Madam Magda.

Obtaining Tourney Tokens

Obtaining tournaments can be accomplished in a number of ways. The easiest might be the Battle Pass. Simply play ranked PvP in any of the four leagues and make progress on the Battle Pass for the current Season. If you're willing to chance a more perilous path, the Portal of Peril rewards Fortune Coins. Fortune Coins can be used to craft Tourney Tokens at Madam Magda in Fairegrounds of the Commons. Finally, Tourney Tokens can be found in the Loyalty Store at Majid, located in Wizard City's Shopping District.

Entering Tournaments

Once you have Tourney Tokens you'll need to know how to enter tournaments so that you can use them, luckily that's simple too. Head to Unicorn Way , and then head to the PvP Arena where you'll find the Tournaments kiosk. Use the Tournaments Kiosk to open the schedule of the tournaments to find out when the next tournament is set to begin. With that knowledge you can mark your calendar and save the date.

One hour before the beginning of the tournament registration for the tournament begins. To register, return to the PvP Arena and the Tournaments kiosk. To the left of the tournament listing the registration button should now be green, meaning you can register for the tournament. Registering will require the Tourney Token entry fee and place you in the queue for a tournament at the start time. If there are enough signups, a tournament with seven other players will begin at the start time with you included.
