  Danger! Danger! Danger Hound Contest!
Hurray! Congratulations to all our young Wizards!

The challenge to earn the Danger Hound has been met! All registered members of Wizard101Central.com will receive a code for the Danger Hound after December 18th.


As a reward for reaching the goal early, we are adding more to the prize! For every Wizard101 Facebook Fan we gain between the original goal of 50 000 and the closing date on December 18th at noon Central US time, we will also reward you with that amount in GOLD!

More fans = more gold! Keep up the great work, young Wizards, you’ve really earned that Danger Hound! Look for your rewards to arrive via email after December 18th 2009.

Where’s my Danger Hound?
After December 18th, all existing registered members of Wizard101Central.com will receive a message to the email they used when they registered with that site. That email will contain a code for the Danger Hound and a code for gold. The gold reward amount will depend on how many Wizard101 Facebook Fans we have (beyond the 50 000 goal) on December 18th at noon Central US time.

  New Look to the Wizard101 Launcher!
You may have noticed when you logged on this weekend that the Wizard101 Launcher has had a bit of a facelift! The same buttons as before are there for Crowns, Guides and Help, and the Launcher will always be the place to go for status updates and promotions.

As always please read the Ravenwood News on the launcher before you log in, and heed our safety warning about keeping your password a secret. Please never, ever give out your password no matter what, young Wizards. We at KingsIsle Entertainment may ask you for your username when it comes to account issues, but we will never ask you for your password. Giving your password to another player can result in a permanent ban from Wizard101.

  Wizard101 Scheduled Maintenance
Wizard101 the game will be offline from (approximately) 3am to 4am Central US Time on November 04 2009.

During this time, players will be unable to log in to the game, and active players will be prompted to log out.
Our website may also experience interruptions in service during this downtime.
Thank you for your patience while we improve the performance of the game for all of our players.

  Hallowe'en Leftovers
While Hallowe'en is over, some of the spooky gremlins decided to linger in the game a little longer causing some players to still see their Halloween quests.

No need to worry though, because Ambrose is working hard to conjure up a spell to cleanse your quest logs of the spooky gremlin’s presence! In the meantime, I recommend sticking to your normal quests within the Spiral! Best of luck!

All good things must come to an end, and Spooky Bob and his friends have left the Spiral. Any incomplete Hallowe'en quests have been removed from your Quest Journal, and all the Hallowe'en decorations and visitors are gone...until next year!

   Hallowe'en will be leaving the Spiral soon!
All good things must come to an end, and Spooky Bob and his friends will be leaving the Spiral on November 2nd, so you only have a few days to complete your Hallowe'en quests! Any incomplete Hallowe'en quests will disappear on the 2nd along with all the Hallowe'en decorations.
