I have heard that the death minion spell is awesome cause depending on the pips the minion is stronger. The thing is, when do deaths get that spell? lv 18?

Yes the minion changes. I haven't check all pip amounts yet but here is what i got so far.

1-Ethereal servant-(a ghost)
2-Charmed sprite-(Dark fairy)
3-Crypt watchman-(a Skeleton)
4-Ghoulish Retainer-(A ghoul)
5-Summoned Soul-(A ghost)
6-Captured Banshee-(A banshee)

I have seen at least one more ghost but I forgot how many pips I used. The higher level monsters (the Level 3 and up ranks) are pretty useful. I have see mine use Kraken!
