Hey all! I'm new to using the forums and wanted to see if anyone could give me some advice. I'm struggling figuring out a deck/play style my wizard (lvl 67). I feel like I'm taking more damage in minor battles than I should be and that I'm not executing my spells well enough. I love the idea of using DoTs like Snow Angel or shields like Tower or Frozen Armor, but I feel like it's hard to use them practically. Does anyone have any advice on deck building in general or specific builds that work well for you/why? I'm mainly looking for PvE, but PvP advice is welcome too. Thanks!!

Hi! I'm an Ice a little farther ahead. ...Ok way farther. But, I can give some advice
Wintertusk might be hard for an Ice but it's really worth it in levels.
Frozen Armour isn't that good for solo because it take all of your pips, in boos fight using first or second round is ok but I didn't use it. I try to avoid DoT because it gives them the chance to defeat you before you can defeat them.
Gear: (what I used) Waterworks Gear (2/3) Blade amulet (Life mastery + Satyrs is also good) Enchanted Armament Pet (gives sharpen blade)
Main deck: (what I used) Iceblade Iceblade-Amulet Sharpened Iceblade-Pet Reindeer Knight/Frost giant with upgrade Blizzard with upgrade Tower Shield Reshuffle Amplify Pixie
Boss Deck: (what I used)
Iceblade Iceblade-Amulet Sharpened Iceblade-Pet Reindeer Knight/Frost giant with upgrade Wooly Mammoth with upgrade (Or just Frost Giant) x2 Tower Shield Reshuffle Amplify
Thanks, but I dont have reindeer knight, and dont get me wrong I NEED that spell, I just NEED it, and is there a way to craft because I love the animation and its epic so thanks for the suggestion and is Reindeer Knight craftable? because I am too weak to farm loremaster, or even defeat him once.
Take the Towers out of your mob deck. Mob fights should be buff-hit, or buff-buff-hit. Wasting a round for one tower isn't worth the time. Ice has high enough heath to withstand most mobs. If you have an enemy that hits hard enough to be a problem, you are almost always better off with school-specific shields. Tower is essential for PvP, since you don't know who you'll be facing, but usually a mistake for PvE.
Speaking for deck building advice for ice school, I have an ice wizard and I don't know if I put too many spells in her deck. My wizard is I believe level 93-94, I forgot, I might have put too many blades in my deck.
