Deckathalon Death Tower Pack

The Spring Update Notes for June 12, 2019, say this about the Tower Pack:

"The Tower Pack now have only Treasure Cards in it."

But the new Pack that you receive in the game as a Tower reward does include Reagents too.

So either the Update Notes are wrong, or the Pack setup in the game is wrong.

The Runs/Reagents are now part of their own pack.

That may be true, but the progression reward gives you both as it was with the ice pack.

That may be true that the Reagents (Runes) have their own Pack.

But as I was trying to explain, and as Happy Fun Ball pointed out too, the Pack that is received in the game as a reward is called the Deckathalon Death Tower Pack, and it gives the Treasure Cards, plus a chance at obtaining the Deck, and it gives Reagents (Runes).

So again, either the Update Notes are wrong, or the Pack in the game is wrong. That Pack does not give "only" Treasure Cards. Something needs to change ... either the Update Notes or the Pack that is rewarded in the game.

Ah, thank you for the clarification! This is actually working as intended. The reward is essentially a starter pack for players, which is why it yields different rewards. The pack in the CS will only have TCs.

Thanks again Sparck. I still don't agree with this set up. In the game, there are two different Packs with the same name. See details here: http://www.wizard101central.com/forums/showthread.php?507542-Deckathalon-Death-Tower-Pack

One Pack is the Deckathalon Death Tower Pack (Bought) -- from the Crown Shop. It gives 7 Treasure Cards only:
http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/Item:Deckathalon_Death_Tower_Pack_(Bought)

The other Pack is the Deckathalon Death Tower Pack (Reward) -- given to Wizards as a reward from doing the Deckathalon Event. This Pack gives 7 randon items, which can include Treasure Cards, Reagents (Runes), and a Deckathlete's Deck.

It is misleading having two Items with the same name, but they give different items. I understand from Support, that Production has told them that they decided it is okay to have two different Packs, giving two different sets of items, and the Packs have the same name in the game.

I disagree. The Packs should not have the same name. This is deceptive advertising.

I have sent your thoughts to our team to fully consider. Thanks for the explanation!
