Should I keep farming Mt. Olympus?

I am a level 38 storm. I already crafted the hat and boots of the Dragonspyre crafted gear. I didn't craft the robe because I got the senator's robe. Should I keep farming or just use the crafted gear?

You should. Mount Olympus gear is FAR better then anything you get 'till past Level 50. Senator is decent, but Zeus' armor is definitely the best. Since the set gives you about 33% more damage, its definitely worth it depending on what school you are! Hope this helps!

Conversely, at level 40 you have a chance to farm Barkingham Palace. There is some really good gear in there, kind of like Darkmoor Jr.

It seems to drop more easily than Zeus gear. The downside is, you will definitely need some help getting through Barkingham.

I recommend you give Mount Olympus a couple more tries.

The gear there can last you up to level 56 (where I recommend you craft the Wintertusk Gear).

And yes, that gear (Mount Olympus) is even better than the level 50 No Auction ones available as drops in Dragonspyre!

So, yes, again, it's worth it.

Shouldn't take too long to be honest.

Is Barkingham Palace gear better than Mt. Olympus gear? Can it drop on another wizard?

It's pretty good gear. It can drop on a higher wizard, but only if that wizard is also a Storm (in your case).

When doing a side-by-side comparison, it looks like Zeus is still a bit better.

Overall Health: 457 Zeus vs 432 Palace
Overall Pips: 13% Zeus vs 15% Palace
Overall Accuracy: 17% Zeus vs 13% Palace
Overall Damage: 34% Zeus vs 31% Palace
Overall Resist: 18% Fire & 10% Ice Zeus vs 36% Storm & 5% Ice Palace

Zeus is better for health, accuracy & damage (important for Storm), plus it offers a healing bonus. It's the best gear a Storm can get up until level 55 crafted, or level 60 Waterworks. Palace gear is 2nd best, but it drops a little more easily.

Just curious, how does Senator gear compare to Palace gear? The Zeus gear has a very low drop rate and the Palace seems harder to farm than Olympus.

I'm asking about all schools, not just storm. Thanks!

I sometimes farm mt Olympus for the amulets, just throwing that out there xD

Definitely if you going for the best of the best I personally find it more challenging to sometimes go with the gear i can find

depends id farm for a full set and then decide weather or not i need copies to make the next teir if i went crafting most people just farm for the basic set and use that till 50 or have better .... again its all on what you want to do
