All lore spells require a school pip after the last update. School pips count as power pips for a school that is selected. To start using school pips, you need at least 1 archmastery rating. If you are under level 50 and don’t generate base archmastery rating, simple go to the jewel vendor in wizard city and purchase an archmastery jewel. This is a tear shaped jewel and you would need to socket it on to a gear piece that you have.
For the example of splashsquatch, it requires 2 normal pips (2 regular or 1 power pip) plus one myth school pip.

You also need a school pip to make it work. If your wizard is under 50 you need to get an arch mastery jewel from the jewels shop in the shopping district, Wizard city.
