Anyone know why I keep getting sent back to begin the quest over again after defeating Rat in the Husk rather than moving on to tune the trees? This also happened to me after the first Bat quest. Got sent to do the same battle over again 5 times before moving on to tune the trees.
The only thing I can think of is to be sure you finish the entire dialog sequence at the end of the battle. And, be sure to follow your arrow and exit to the next area, rather than porting out. Especially if you ported out, that might "break" something and force you to repeat the quest.

This happened to me with Baba Yaga. If at any point you defeated the main boss, then died and ported out to refill your health, and then ported back in, you may not get credit for killing the boss even if you were still standing at the end of that battle.
