I was in a 30 min dungeon and then got in a battle with street monsters and then i died, now it says I have to fight a boss I already did, I did the puzzle in the book with the suns and moons but the gate it still CLOSED! What now? I re joined and its still there! The next part of the main quest is in there!

Hi there, I've experienced something like this before. Restarting the dungeon should fix the issue, though!

To avoid dying in the future, I recommend both stocking up on potions and fleeing if necessary to preserve your life. Good luck!
