How do i finish the beetles quest when it is glitching

it is glitching with two beetles that i already found but didn't bump off of the quest so i cant finish is

In Krokotopia, there are sometimes two beetles in an area.

Note that the Oasis has two beetles: one by the library, and one is behind the Robe shop.

If I were you, I would try contacting support for assistance since this seems like an isolated case. They should be able to sort out your quest.
