I myself am currently having this issue. I accidentally got rid of the card to extract Animus and I cannot complete the quest. Is there any way of attaining this card so that I can get this quest done? I can't find find it in any shops.
If you are referring to the tutorial quest from Monstrologist Burke in Ravenwood that sets you on a goal to extract undead animus from a Lost Soul, I may be of help.
The spell that Monstrologist Burke gave you CANNOT be sold like a treasure card. You will find it in the trained spells section (press P) and go in the final tab (monstrology). There you will find the Extract Undead animus spell. Make sure to add that to your deck and then go to fight a Lost Soul.
In the battle, click on the extract undead card and then click on an attack spell of your own. This will transform the card and allow you to extract animus from creatures.
