So i thought about this and some people tries to reach level 100 quickly to start farming darkmoor. Getting till khrysalis part 1 and finishing it takes time thats why people do things like farming for xp and doing high xp dungeons or quests. I wonder if its possible to farm darkmoor without shadow magic. Is it possible?

Yes even if you have not learned shadow magic before Darkmoor, once you receive your new spell you also obtain the ability to receive shadow pips. Which is awesome and also makes sense.

You wont have shadow strike , even that said with no side quests being done one would be level 99/100 upon finishing k2 already passing the area to get shadow magic. Getting the shadow pips is normal if you get to DM before getting shadow that's a lot of side questing to pull that off.
