I was wondering if only using shadow spells would work well. I was thinking for the build you would need to start out as an ice wizard to be able to survive all the damage you deal to yourself. And also since you can't learn some of the shadow spells, you would also need to wear gear that has the unlearnable shadow spells like shadowblade and shadowshield.
