I didn't have to much difficulty, but I'm interested to see what others think as well.

How would you propose making some of the fights not as difficult? Thank you for bringing it up in the forums, I'm sure others may feel a similar way.

I think this is a good place to talk about The Abyss boss fight. I don't want to sound like I'm whining, but it is really just too difficult for these reasons:
1. It is flat-out impossible without a jaded life in your team. You can only damage the boss with heals. Each school now has the ability to heal for a couple thousand thanks to school pips, but only life wizards are able to heal for the several thousand needed to make a dent in this boss' health. Only jaded life wizards have the healing boost needed to push through all the debuffs this boss throws at you to block healing. I tried this twice without a jaded life and we could not even hit for a thousand health once in several tries. Most hits were for less than 100 health. The only option would be to chip away at the boss' health by a hundred health at a time over the course of almost a whole day.
2. There are too many stacked healing debuffs. Even with a jaded life and the rest of your team focusing on taking down the healing debuffs, the boss casts too many all in the same round with its cheats. Typically, the boss can throw up a negative healing aura, a negative charm, a healing shield, and doom & gloom all in the same round. Just one of these subtracts enough health to kill the healing attempt completely (knocking it down to less than a thousand healing points). With only a two-round window for your healer to take advantage of the beguile, this is just simply too many debuffs for the team to remove in time for the heal to have any effect.
3. The boss can hit too hard. You will spend 90% of this fight standing around waiting to be beguiled, or waiting for the beguile to wear off. Because your focus is on buffing the heal, you don't have time to defend. This boss consistently hits for 2000-3000 damage every three/four rounds. Usually this is shadow or balance damage, meaning there are no in-game shields to help prevent this (and that would waste a turn you will need to buff the heal).

As it stands, this boss is not possible to defeat except under ridiculously specific circumstances. I advise i. reducing the boss' health ii. reducing the amount of heal debuffs and their frequency iii. adding opportunities for heal buffs FROM the boss while beguiled iv. reducing the boss' outgoing damage v. changing the boss' school from shadow/balance to life/death AND/OR vi. adding a natural incoming heal boost to the boss
