I see that in the new update there is a new gold cap increase to 525,000. My gold cap is still 300,000. Is it something that increases later? I have leveled up a few times after the update and still at 300,000. Thanks for any answers!

Your Gold cap depends on the level of your character, it starts at 300,000 and gradually increases as you level up.
The new cap of 525,000 is for wizards above level 125, updating from the 500,000 cap on wizards level 120-124
