Prepaid card issues

Greetings-

i have heard countless people complain about the Accursed Bundle bought at Walmart and how the codes don't work and then they have issues getting refund/replacement. Walmart refuses to do anything and says they don't have to bc the code is scratched off. Neverless I bought two one for each account. Low and behold I have the same issue- Walmart refuses to reimburse or replace. Sent email to KI regarding this. However if multiple people having this issue might want to change company selling cards to Walmart. Hopefully they respond quickly and either refund me or ultimately give me the bundles which i paid for.

It's not likely that the store themselves can deal with the issue as they have no way to verify if the code has been redeemed or not (on your account or on someone else's either through an error or by some kind of fraud).

KingsIsle are the only ones with all the information and will be able to sort it out and investigate what is happening. It might be nothing more than a simple glitch/error that is causing the codes to fail to redeem. It could be something more tricksome, like codes somehow being intercepted and used. Either way, KI have all the info.

I'd contact KI (support@wizard101.com) and include proof of purchase for all of them and photos of all the cards with their codes visible. Let them know the usernames of the accounts you added them to and what message you got when they failed to redeem (was it invalid? Was it already used? Anything else it said.)

If one worked and the other didn't still include the details of the one that worked so the proof of purchase and photo of the cards verify you're not accidentally attempting to use the same one twice.

Give as much detail as possible and proof where you have it but keep it simple and to the point so it's clear.

They will be able to check the details, find out if the code has somehow been used elsewhere etc, and they'll also be able to add the items to your accounts.

Keep in mind that this could be a more complicated process than most support issues and they may need more details and take a little longer than usual to resolve the problem. Keep an eye on your emails (even your spam folder) for responses - they may need further details.

I know this is frustrating but please be reassured that KI will sort it for you and they won't let you miss out on the items you have paid for. Be polite and patient - this is a more tricky issue and they'll likely want to get to the bottom of how it is happening.

This is unfortunately a problem on Walmart's end. We are working with them to try and get it resolved.
