Level 0 Friends

I can't tell if this is a bug or something, but for the past few days, at least 10 people in my friend list appear as level 0 characters.

Is this supposed to be normal? Like if they got banned or something or just deleted me, or simply deleted their account.

Usually it just means that either you or your friends have not been in the game for a while.

But some of these friends have been added not even 2 weeks ago..

And my in real life friend who also plays haven't logged in in over 2 months and it still shows all her normal stats.
