Good evening, I have been working with my Ice and a newly created Fire Character recently and I ran into a few things that I don't know if they are either a bug or if part of an already reported issue.
1) With regards to the known issue of tempest not consuming all pips I've noticed this beyond tempest. With my fire character this has been observed with Heck Hounds, and my Ice character with my Penguin Barrage. I was thinking it had to do with the pip conservation, and thought that was awesome, but then I noticed it on my lvl 30 Fire character who does not have that yet.
2) I saw a note about Shadow Spell backfire damage being corrected on spells like Sentinel and such. I use Dark Nova myself when soloing and found out tonight that Dark Nova I cannot get the backlash to Zero. I will cast Dark Nova, receive the initial blade. Next turn I will cast a blade or trap and see the shadow grow, cast shadow spear, then backlash -10. Next turn same thing and shadow grows, places a shadow trap on all enemies, then backlash -10. You will notice the backlash sphere still has a layer of red as it still has a barrier. Spell triggers, does his damage which seems to still do massive damage like everything went well, then boom I get the backlash damage. I have received between 480-890 damage using the same gear and same scenario. Normally this would be 0, and although I can't recall, but I want to say there is supposed to be an initial -10 backlash from when it casts the initial blade, but that does not trigger.
3) On both my Death and Ice characters past couple days now if I'm in Wizard City and check the quest finder it activates a person in Triton Avenue, Blad Raveneye. I go to him and he has nothing.
4) Sewers in Olde Town - Wizard City. I ran into this at least once, but the bug boss encounter I was told I had to make sure I got the text dialogue to appear or I trigger a glitch in that he vanishes after the fight. I received the dialogue, and thought I was good, fought, won, and nothing. Quest was wanting me to talk to him, but he wasn't there, and could go through the door to the next zone. I ended up having to completely exit the dungeon and start all over to reset it.
5) Sewers in Olde Town - Wizard City - Treeminder. I wasn't sure how long this has been around as I recently started playing some more, and did this dungeon quest. I noticed Treeminder is Myth, but casts fire spells and snow shield as if he is a fire boss. Additionally, when I did this on my Fire character I noticed he did in fact resist fire damage substantially, and when a convert was used to change to ice it was boosted. I wasn't sure if this was a glitch that he appears with the Myth element.
