This is something that's been bothering me for years now, but unfortunately I never thought to ask about it during the Curator's last Q&A. I've noticed something of an inconsistency between spells and the "pet versions" of those spells. An example of this would be the Efreet. During the Efreet spell quest, the Efreet is often regarded as a singular entity. Bernie specifically refers to the Efreet as a "he", rather than a "they". He even goes so far as to calling the Efreet a powerful wizard. So, how then, can there pet Efreets? The Lord of Winter, Sun Serpent, and Leviathan all share this contradiction as well.
