can anyone provide simple steps or directions to:

I've tried this side quest as a Storm Wizard at Level 123. I had a friend bring me to the Husk. This quest is bugged because it actually leads to the final boss main quest line in the second arc of the story. Hoping KI will fix this ASAP.

My best advice to you since I had that same glitch is to send a support ticket to KI! They fixed my game within 24 hours!
