First, relax. Second, there is nothing wrong with doing side quests as being a higher level will only help. Third, the Krok quest tree is below. As is the case for all worlds, you must complete at least the main storyline quests to move on...

The only quests you have to do are the ones you can't decline, though I'd advise you to do the side quests, because you'll be at a higher level and the later worlds will be easier.
