what is the best way to reduce backlash with shadow magic? I feel like every time i use it it is not worth it because i end up doing like 2000 damage to myself with the backlash

When using shadow magic, you have 3 rounds to minimize the backlash.

For example when casting shrike, if you blade/charm the backlash will decrease.

Each shadow spell is unique and has different ways to make that backlash lower. Have fun with Shadow Magic!

Shadow Magic has been incredibly helpful, I know this post is hold, but I think there should more more spells that use shadow pips. There just aren't many spells that come to mind that are worth waiting for a shadow pip.
