Hatching mounts?

Just a thought, how cool would it be if we could hatch and raise our own mounts?

I like this idea!

Raising a mount would probably be limited to increasing the mount's speed, say 5% at baby, then 15% at adult, 25% at ancient, 35% at epic, and 45% at mega, the extra 5% is the reward for "raising your own".

I would also like to name my mount and possibly color my mount as well.

Hatching a mount brings up all kinds of wild ideas about hybrids and cross breeds, the mind boggles!

Perhaps the mount hatching fee should be in line with the gold price for mounts, $90,000 gold or thereabouts.

This could be a wild and crazy thread very soon

Here are some ideas-
Purple fairy wings plus blue fairy wings-
Black fairy wings
Black fairy wings plus orange fairy wings-
Rainbow fairy wings!
Owl plus phenoix-
Firey owl
Firey owl plus rainbow fairy wings-
Fiery rainbow fairy wings! (Jk)
Moonlight pony plus sunshine pony-
Eclipse pony
Eclipse pony plus rainbow fiery wings-
Ultimate mount (Jk)
Ultimate mount plus broom-
Tye die broom (Jk)

Panther plus Bengal tiger-
Shadowstalker (looks like a grey Bengal tiger)
Starts putting in random combinations
Wait... This won't work.
Love the idea it rocks, but it is too much to add to a game.

Would be to much. Mounts and pets and/or gardening? That's a lot of energy and gold to use on. Would sound cool, but would be too much.

P.s. I always thought about hatching mounts, but its not the best idea.

True about using a lot of energy if it went that route, but how many players out there only use energy for training pets? I am sure I am not the ONLY one on W101 who doesn't garden. And once I get a pet I am fully happy with, I train that one and that's it. So I am sure others just have an energy globe that just sits there.

And maybe instead of having to "train" the mount, you can just feed it and water it and pet with it at you "house" the more you do the more it grows up. Similar to the gardening thing.
