I started a new girl, balance this time. Went thru all the quests but did note one was missing, I didn't get the book quest, I triple checked to make sure I didn't miss the person that gives it out and it's just not there plain and simple.
Someone wanna tell me why there was no book quest in wizard city today?
The book quest for Wizard City has been moved a little later in your Wizard training, if memory serves me you'll receive it when you're level 10.

This is when my new balance wizard was able to get the quest, I keep checking also but it took to level 10 to actually get the quest. I was trying to get it earlier not so much for the XP but more to start getting the books without having to go back and redo most of the bosses. Fortunatly I only had to redo a few bosses for this.
