How do you know which Pet Generation your pet is. I have read about them, but it doesn't just make sense. Is it from how much hatches the final pet has to go threw, or is it something else? Like would a pet be a First Gen or a Second Gen?

I think he means Never been took to the hatchery before.
But a frist generation pet is actually: A pet that has a look of a pet either obtained by: Drop, Quest, Or bought. A Secibd Generation pet is a whole new pet hatched when you hatchs two pets together. It has a dufferent look then yours, or your partners pet. Stats dont have much to do with generations.

I believe what Ronster55 is saying that for a pet to be first generation it had to be bought from a store, or bought BEFORE Advanced Pets even started.
