Hi I am new to this game and i got a pet that gives me +1% defense and its a teen and i seen other pets at epic and ancient with the same buff but at 9% so i am wondering if the pets stats effect the % or is it the players level or the pets age?(baby/teen/adult) thanks for reading.

It is the pets stats that effect this. The more you train your pet in Strength, Agility, and Power, the more resistance the pet will get.
