weird hatches and can some one tell me why

hi i hatched with my bone dragon with a mammoth pet and me and him got the same pets!!! we both got the blue bone dragon.why is this. shouldnt i have gotten the death mammoth if he got the blue bone dragon or is it just because he is lucky or is it a glitch? IS THIS NORMAL? can some one please tell me why

You both got the only hybrid possible between a bone dragon and a mammoth. Sorry but there is no death mammoth.
