How long is "super long?" Some pets can take up to 27 hours to hatch (that's the longest hatch time I've experienced). Sometimes there's a glitch which shows like thousands of hours; the pet will hatch in the correct amount of time no matter what it says.

My death wizard, upon receiving her wraith pet egg, had a very, very long hatch time. We're talking decades! It was just a glitch and it hatched in the 12 or so hours that level 48 pets are supposed to hatch.
