i am a member and my mom has parental controls but it wont let us unlock text chat, please help me :(
Your mom should logon this website as the "parental account" (if you have more than one account). Then click on "My Accounts" on the left side of this page. Then on the Accounts page, scroll down to the bottom and click on "unlock parental controls". A box appears to type in the "parental password".
After that, she will see all of the options (for chat and all). (If you have more than one account, click on the account you want to change.)
Click on the word "enable" next to the items you want. (If the word "disable" is showing, that means your option is turned on already.)
Ok, go to your parental controls, (You may need your parental controls password.) Under text chat, hit unable. If its disable and you click it, then it will shut down that option. Good luck on getting it.
