When you move to a new castle do the items in you attic come with you

Yes, items in your attic are similar to items in your backpack. Pull them out of your attic at any time in any of your houses by bringing up your housing tab, clicking on the picture of the attic, then selecting "Attic" and "Move to Backpack".
