Why Jade Oni pet in Dragonspyre???

Why is the Jade Oni pet in dragonspyre and not in Mooshu? Because you know that the Jade Oni is in Mooshu! This is weird!

But you don't know about the Jade Oni until the very end of Mooshu, at which point, you're about to go to Dragonspyre.

Because you need to beat it so it knows it should obey you! :-D Can you imagine having it as your pet while you battle it??? That would just be out of place!
