Hatching Epic with non-Epic

Does it matter at what level of training a pet is when you use it to hatch?

If I hatch my epic with a teen, will the outcome differ from if I hatch my epic with the same pet after it becomes epic?

The outcome won't be different.
And also, you cannot hatch eggs with teen pets, they HAVE to be adult.

Thanks for the teen info. I didn't know that. The other wizard who asked to hatch with me has a teen.

The type of pet you get most likely will be the same.

Benefit to hatching higher trained pets is:

1. Possible increase in pedigree
2. Higher Stats
3. more Rare and above ability traits
