Gordon Sumner is fussy and wants fresh snacks. He won't take snacks that you already own. You have to actually obtain one of each of these after you've accepted the quest.
Fortunately, you don't have to win them in battle, although you can if you wish. The Bazaar usually has a supply of each of these on hand. Go there and buy one of each. These will satisfy Mr. Sumner, and he'll make the sandwich for you.
