i hatched my aincent orthrus with an adult helephant and got ANOTHER ORTHRUS! except this one was weaker than the original orthrus! i wanted a war oni! not another orthrus! this is to unfair! KI please fix this!
there is no garuntee that you will get WHAT you want on your first try, dont dwell on the past and try again later you will eventually get it that a garuntee but when, isnt
Was the helephant a lower pedigree than your orthrus?
Getting a hybrid is by chance, but I have found that if I hatch my school pet with a lower pedigree, I tend to get a dupe. But when I hatch with another school pet that is a higher pedigree, I tend to get the hybrid.
For example, my adult Stormzilla (53) hatched with an adult Wraith (62) = Tempest (58 or 59 - don't remember off hand this is still an egg)
I know it is a tempest because it is a necromancer egg with a 21 hour hatch time.
