Anyone help me out by telling me where the trainer is who teaches you the ability to sacrifice your pet for pips/HP etc..

He's in Marleybone. There's a staircase by the mayor in Digmoore Station that looks like it's probably just decorative, but you can go down the stairs, and there's a trainer down there.

Talk to Tish’mah. He’s on top of the secret shop in Krokotopia. The teleporter to the secret shop is near to the deck shop.
