This had been bothering me for the longest time. I understand there are green, yellow, red and orange tags for monsters compared to you in strength and that bosses have purple tags but why ranks and elites and those other things? They don't really make much sense. Enemies can be the same rank but have completely different health.
I propose a change to this plan by giving all regular, elite and boss enemies the same ranking system. That way, anyone can see a number and thing, he is rank 17 so he must have the health listed on the chart below.
Incomplete Rank List:
Rank 1: 1 - 100 health Rank 2: 100 - 150 health Rank 3: 150 - 225 health Rank 4: 226 - 325 health Rank 5: 326 - 450 health Rank 6: 451 - 600 health Rank 7: 601 - 775 health Rank 9: 776 - 975 health Rank 10: 976 - 1200 health Rank 11: 1201 - 1450 health Rank 12: 1451 - 1725 health Rank 13: 1726 - 2025 health Rank 14: 2025 - 2350 health Rank 15: 2351 - 2700 health
Each rank has a health range of the previous one +25 until you get to rank 15. Once the health increment hits 350 at rank 15, it stays there.
