Don't follow the quest helper when you go into the Vault of Ice.
Listen to Shalek the Wise. He tells you that before you meet the Keeper of the Fang, you must first defeat the three other bosses in there. Look at your map and you will see the three other bosses.
ALSO, you must solve the riddle after you defeat each boss. In the room with the bosses, you will see yellow banners that light up after you win. Make note of what you see on these banners. You must use these items to light the braziers or whatever is in each room. Then you can move on to the next room.
