MikeS... is right. There is a code on the wall. But look at your map first.
Which way do you need to go to get to the boss you want?
I think it was on the "left". Weren't there two sets of codes? The door on the right doesn't go anywhere. Try the code on the left side. (We're still wondering where that other door leads, but for now there is nothing in there.)

It shows all four, but you need to do them left to right in order. And there are two gates, each with a different code, make sure you are doing this for the correct gate.
