Professor Falmea I was wonndering if scald is a spell for fire wizards only or you have to have an item that gives it to you. I have seen even ice wizards use the spell. i know that a hat can give it to you, but is that the only way?
Yes there is an actual Fire Spell you can learn called Scald. You learn it once you complete Marleybone. You can also earn a Scald card by getting the Astral Coif of Scalding from Prospector Zeke. I think the only ones to get Scald from finishing Marleybone are Pyromancers. All other classes must buy the Astral Coif of Scalding.
