Only the onwer of the house can interact with the plants.
It is the only way to train pets but, a major drag if I wish to add a pet to my main (like I have a nice nature pet but as a nature student) it would be nice to use a diffent (school with card etc.) one, but would need to wait for all plants to be harvested, and after re-plant (say 2-3 day stop of gardening)
