swimming with the stars= mission impossible!

hello, i'm on a quest called swimming with the stars or something like that.
I have tried countless times to beat it, me and my friends can get to the first boss just fine, but WE CANT ATTACK. the main boss uses some kind of cheat to skip over our turns in battle. I just think its a little unfair that the boss and minions can use lvl 48 spells and they can heal. Does anyone have any adivce on how to beat. I wonder if anyone HAS beaten it.
Please help!!!!!!!!

The Marleybone GrandMaster Tower is a side quest and not needed to enter Celestia. The best way to beat this tower is with a group.
