Treasure Card Screw-Up?

I was battling in Crab Alley the day the quest came up. As I battled a Balance Tower Guard, I decided to use my Blizzard treasure card, even though I'm an Ice wizard. But when I cast the spell, it resisted on the BALANCE crab. Is this a glitch?

No it is not. Balance resists fire ice storm and balance. Death life and myth boost on it.
