I recently created my second wizard. I am almost half way through wizard city and the guy in the library who hands out the book quest still says come back in a bit. My main wizard is also missing the mander saviour badge and one other I can't think of off the top of my head. That badge too is from krokitopia. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
The most recent word on the book quest is that it is offered when you turn level 10, which is well past the level where you first fight most of the bosses who have the books. I haven't seen any explanation for the change.
The Mander Saviour badge was being looked into. I don't recall seeing a note that it was fixed, but that might just mean that I didn't see it. :) Scroll down a couple pages in Halston's Laboratory and you should be able to find a couple of threads about it.
I went back and checked when I hit level ten and it was lit. You are right, I will now have to go back and fight three boss's to get the books I missed. The first two times through the game, first in beta and the second after the wipe, It was lit from the start. the really need to change this back. As for the badges I know of two that my main doesn't have, the Mander saviour and the krokytopian something or other badge. Wish I could remember the last one.
I didn't mind that it was changed and not available until level 10. I had to go back and fight the bosses that I had already finished, BUT I got XP that I probably wouldn't have got the old way. Wish you still got a training point when you complete it though. Helps when you'd like to get an extra spell like the blades that aren't available from professors.
Cracky, Would you be willing to possibly make a list of the badges you have? I am missing WAY more than 2 ! That is awesome! Good Job!
Odds are the Krokosphinx badge you are missing is the Krokosphinx Delver badge. There has been a bug with this badge and it is temporarily put in the same slot as the Junior Archeologist badge, but almost immediately reverts back to Junior Archeologist. I have reported this badge bug and I'm sure that others have as well.
just to add to Cracky's list on page 7 before the purifier is the Peacemaker, mostly the badges are grouped by worlds so if you can mark the end badge for each world then you can figure out where the ones that are missing should be. However the beat'em up badges aren't associated with each world so they're at the end of your list (i.e. pages 9 and up, I think.)

This is way cool. Just wanted to add pg7 after purifier is Peacemaker. and on page 9 when you get to DS you start counts on draconians second on page is draconian slayer then have 73/100 draconians. Also could you tell me how to get sword saint badge.
