I had this awesome idea. For Grandmasters, doing other quests is completely pointless. You get NO experience. So, that experience could go to an "experience bank" somewhere in your house or spellbook thing or somewhere. When there is a new level cap released, the grandmaster will be able to take all that saved experience and get boosted a few levels right off the bat!
