Invincible Tower

I would like to go into an invicible tower with a group of friends. Basically the tower is made so that every time a battle is won a harder battle is newly generated without the players leaving the table. That is to say you go in and you defeat whatever is there, upon defeat you earn gold, tickets, crowns for invicible tower only items, etc. , upon winning your mana and health instantly return to full and after about a half minute to minute time clock runs down, new harder opponents materialize on the other side. The more you win the harder the generated opponents become and the greater the rewards, if you lose you get kicked out and have to start with the easiest level of opponents once again.

To make things even a bit more interesting if you are at say a tower level seven fight and another group of real players is also at such a level, such player groups could even be matched against each other if both teams are waiting on the inbetween timer clocks to run down before the next level bosses are generated.

Since every higher level becomes harder and harder, eventually players will lose, and the real challenge becomes seeing just how high up you can get. Titles can be given out to indicate the highest level that players have even gotten, kind of a boasting thing to be able to walk around with invicible tower level 12 or whatever title under your name.

Good idea. I would add that the enemies faced would be totally random, and the spells that they use wouldn't be predictable. This would keep the tower fresh and make it difficult, if not impossible, for people to post walkthroughs on how to defeat each wave.

The only problem with this is that it would probably be a nightmare to program.

I don't think it would be that hard to program. For each tower level the programmers would make a list of boss combinitations that can be randomly drawn from, much like a wandering monster table in the old D&D roleplaying games. I still want to go up against four bosses that all use scarecrow.

This tower also is great for running in game programming experiments. If the programmers want to try out a new idea or combination of creatures, they just add it to the level list and monitor how people fare against it.

I think this would be fun, and something fun to do with friends. The tower could even be programmed to adjust for everyone's levels (based upon the highest level players in the group). In the old diablo games, the higher level a player was the harder the generated world became generated as, and that kept leveling up more and more interesting.
