Mr. Snowcrusher drops many different things. The chances of getting any of the common ones are about the same, meaning that you can get a particular item 4 times in 10 tries or not at all in 50 tries.
Here is a partial list of things that have been reported to be dropped by Snowcrusher, copied directly from the Wizard101 Wiki. I would imagine that some, such as the house, are rare:

Ive counted how many times I have gotten each item from the Snowcrusher of the Drake Hatchery.
Fire Pendament - 2 Skull Pirate - 2 Balance Boots - 5 + Storm Hat - 3 Fire Hat - 2 Storm Wrap - 5 + Ice Boots - 1 Life boots - 0
Probably a lot more I am missing too!

Well by making a post on I didn't get what I wanted, so I want it for free presay.
The drops are RNG (Random Number Generated) No one can predict when the item that YOU want for YOUR wizard will drop, it works like the real life lottery- It is impossible to predict that the numbers that YOU picked will come up for YOU.
But what I did notice is If you are a specific school and you want a specific item for your wizard the drops are more unlikely that it will be for your wizard.
Meaning I farmed just about every single boss in DS, etc, to get gear drops for my Wizard, and I got great gear for Schools of not my class, Loads of it, but I did not get the drop for my Wizards class, Maybe in your case as being Life, your drop rate is drastictly lowered compared to someone else that isn't Life. Same goes for me.
The only thing I am saying is...."Stick that straw hat on and keep farming." One day it will drop when you least suspect it.
