So one day while i was playing grand chasm past, i started to think,''What did DS look like before it became the baron wasteland of the spiral?'' So, your wizard would get a side quest from a former dragonspyre librarian (not milos bookwyrm) saying he holds a time crystal that can take you back in time. He tells you to meet him at his old tower. You go on the sigl(or how ever you spell that) and it takes you in his house. You activate the crystal and a time vortex rips open. You step inside... and the rest is up to wizard101.
I love that idea! I'm guessing dragonspyre was like Wizard City, except with dragons. I also think that it was like pretty modern, it had big cities. Like lots of shopping, parks, maybe even a baby dragon park, (a pet park!) I would love to see a past Dragonspyre like that!
My favorite dungeon is the Grand Chasm Past because DS seems so peaceful back then (if you can ignore all the enemies there). I would love to go back in time and see what dragonspyre looked like back then. It's such a shame how one little mistake caused dragonspyre to look like it does now.
So good idea, and I hope that KI considers this in the future.
I had a similar idea, mine was more like this though:
1.) Dragonspyre B.C.: Part of "Dragonspyre Time Crystal"
A world that can be accesed after breaking off a piece of the Dragonspyre Time Crystal and equipping it to a spiral key.
This world would be ruled by the dragons and dinosaurs at the dawn of dragonspyre's history, before humans had taken over.
2.) Dragonspyre Civilization: Part of "Dragonspyre Time Crystal"
A world that can be accesed after breaking off a piece of the Dragonspyre Time Crystal and equipping it to a spiral key.
This world would be Dragonspyre in all its glory, before the Dragon Titan was summoned and invoked its wrath upon the world and reduced it to ash.
In this world you would be able to learn the ancient magic known only to the people of Dragonspyre. You would be able to enlist as a student in Dragonspyre academy under your school. And you would be able to take part in the battles spoken of in the history books.
Finally, as the climax to this world, you would be asked to take part in the "summoning of knowledge" where you and high-ranked wizards of Dragonspyre accidently summon the Dragon Titan.
The time crystal is excellent, but maybe it could also be...
Malistare... PAST!
You rejoice at the defeat of Malistare and throw a huge party. Cyrus Drake comes along and is upset you didn't consider his feelings(because Malistare was his brother) and says "you didn't learn the pain of love". He orders you to go into the Crystal of Legend(because Myth is all about the past), and you refuse. The he pushes you in! You go back to a time when Malistare wasn't evil and the death school was in Ravenwood and Sylvia Drake(Malistare's wife) was still alive. You try to warn Malistare that his wife is gonna get sick and he's gonna turn evil and... tell him everything! He laughs at the message, then asks you to supervise young Malorn Ashtorn's poison spell. He's doing it perfectly, but you think something's wrong and step in, which ruins the spell! It winds up infecting Sylvia with a disease "not even the greatest Life wizard" could heal. So you pretty much started the cause of Malistare's madness.
CLASSIC time loop!
You come back and tell Cyrus what happened, which was NOT the smartest move when Cyrus starts chewing you out for... you know...
