I defeated Nightshade and for some reason i got a horned sweeper is this a glitch

Not a glitch! Many bosses of Wizard City have the chance to drop a mount rental.
If you want the prize, you have to build the ladder rung by rung. There are no shortcuts.

Some bosses will rarely drop a one-day mount, usually a broom with a 20% speed boost. I got one on my new Death wizard from Rattlebones. Being that I already have a permanent broom with a 40% boost, the drop was about as useful to me as a tire pump would be in an aluminum canoe, but it's the thought that counts.
