I think that there should be a way that you know somebody is ignoring you. Like I have some people on my ignore list and they don't even know I'm ignoring them. I think that KingsIsle should make a way for you to know if somebody is ignoring you.
What's the point? All you really want to do is be able to snub them and have them know it. It's rude and pointless. Just the fact that they are now Ignored should be enough -- they can't bother you anymore.
I dunno color me funny but why would you want someone you put on ignore list knowing once you take them off they are gone off your list. Why would you want them to know? If I ignore someone I don't want them back I put them there for a reason. I do not use this feature very often as I can simply port away if I am not liking what is going on.
