Ok, i beat Mooshu and the Jade Oni, and it told me i had the key to dragonspyre. I looked at the world tree, and it didnt show up, so i beat the oni again. NO CHANGE. What happened?

After you beat the Jade Oni, you spoke to the Emperor, and got a message to talk to Professor Merle...
Merle will then send you to talk to a certain cranky teacher...who is silly enough to challenge you. Once you humble him, you can access Dragonspire.
